SUMMER SCHOOL DEDICATED TO THE DANUBE REGION

Deadline: July 15, 2017

When: 24-29 September 2017

Where: Ulm / Neu-Ulm, Germany

The summer school dedicated to the Danube region is the result of the work of many institutions, associations and people. Since the European Commission adopted the EU strategy for the Danube region (in 2010), more and more people are sympathetic to the region, as well as to EU structures and international and national institutions.

Like the Baltic region, the EU has its own postgraduate programme. In order to attract young experts to the Baltic region, it is suggested that the Danube region and the countries, cultures and structures of which it is composed should create their own training programme, the main purpose of which is to teach young people to understand and love their native region.

The University of European Danube Academy covers the costs of:
residence;
food;
training.

Participants must pay their own transportation costs.

Requirement to candidates

The summer school is open to candidates who:
interested in studying the politics, economy, culture and history of the Danube region;
