An international QS in Conversation Summit “Enhancing Visibility through International Cooperation: Mobility, Recognition, Branding” is being held on October 14-15 in Kaunas (the Republic of Lithuania).
The initiative proposed by the Eurasian National Universities named after L.N. Gumilyov, was supported by the authoritative international rating agency QS (Great Britain) and one of the leading universities in Lithuania – Vytautas Magnus University.
The event is attended by leaders of the academic community of countries such as Kazakhstan, Russia, the USA, Lithuania, Latvia, Great Britain, Japan, Korea, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Ethiopia, Poland, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.
Almaty Technological University at the summit is represented by the first vice-rector of ATU, Professor Baurzhan Nurakhmetov.
The global summit is dedicated to the promotion of higher education institutions in the global educational arena, the role of modern media in increasing the recognition of universities in the global higher education community.
At the end of the event, the results of the QS EECA University Rankings 2019 – University Rankings 2019 QS Developing Europe and Central Asia rating will be announced.
